Thanks to everyone who got back to me. I've found someone local to me who can do the job so I've decided to support my local economy in these time of financial crisis

I'm looking for quotes on how much it'll cost to take a photoshop design and create the relevant CMS template and CSS. I've got all the graphics and stuff, but no HTML.

PDF's of the design are available so you can get a good idea of what we need.

Well - how it worked I don't know - but I just put the url in again - refreshed everything and now it's all working perfectly  ;D Thanks for the tip about paths having to be relative - back in the bad old days I trained myself to always use absolute paths so I didn't have to worry about where files ...

Yup - and I've just fixed that problem. Now I can see images Yay! But only if I put them in the template - not in the stylesheet . But it's a huge step forward... Now I just need to keep repeating the steps until I figure out what else I'm doing wrong.
