Re: STAR RATINGS for SEO

Thanks. But I'm not sure that module utilizes Rich Snippet, does it?

STAR RATINGS for SEO

I've noticed that the YELP listings on Google display the star rating of a business, catching your eye immediately and taking away traffic from other search results.

Is there a module that would allow star ratings to be assigned to your web site?

Feedback Form Spam

Anyone know an easy way to prevent Feedback Form spam without forcing users to fill out a Captcha spam box?

Thanks.

Re: [SOLVED] How to restore from an old CMS Made Simple DB

The strange A characters I had to remove/change by hand. Ended up being around 50-60 pages as it turned out.

The WYSIWYG issue, I had to uninstall and re-install. Also made sure all settings in CMS Admin were set to TinyMCE.

Thanks again.

Re: EMERGENCY: How to restore from an old CMS Made Simple DB

Yeah, I tried uninstalling and installing again, but that didn't work unfortunately.

Not looking forward to looking through hundreds of pages for hundreds of 'A' characters...

Re: How to restore from an old CMS Made Simple DB

Thank you for all your help. Site is now online! But I'm getting this weird  character on hundreds of pages throughout the site. Is there some global find and replace that could take care of this by any chance? The WYSIWYG editors also do not seem to be working. I'm just seeing raw HTML. I flipped ...

Re: Emergency: How to restore from an old CMS Made Simple DB

I spoke too soon.

In the Admin menu, whenever I try to access a content page or the templates, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function TemplateId() on a non-object in /home/site/public_html/plugins/function.stylesheet.php on line 56

Anyone know a fix for this?

Re: Emergency: How to restore from an old CMS Made Simple DB

I have very happy news (I think). I was able to locate the exact duplicate of the site from 11/10/2011. Version.php states it is version 1.9.4.3 I believe it should match the version of the DB backup I have, although I am not certain. On the other hand, I am currently running the following on my ser...

[SOLVED] How to restore from an old CMS Made Simple DB

I have a CMS Made Simple DB that is approximately 1.5 years old. Is there any way for me to identify which version of CMS Made Simple that it was created with, and to restore it to that version? Unfortunately, I wiped my site clean by accident and this was the only backup I could recover. This is an...

Re: How to copy a site to a different domain name?

Put the install folder from the correct version of the site back into the root of site, run yoursite.com/install/ and follow the prompts till you get to step five where you input the DB info... DO NOT CREATE TABLES OR INSTALL DEFAULT CONTENT!... These are the 2 tick boxes at the bottom, doing the i...

Re: How to copy a site to a different domain name?

Okay.  I got it transferred by editing the SQL file as suggested and uploading it to httpdocs directory.  Then I used the command line to load it into the DB. Unfortunately, while my front page shows up fine, I get the following error whenever I try to click onto a subpage: Not Found The requested U...
