Its been fixed. I think the whole lot was caused by either unzip error or ftp. used shell took a few goes but alls good now.

tried a new unzip. deffo upload ascII. just tried it all again. still the same :(

Going to try get someone to unzip using shell but never had to before of the other sites.

Missing header & admin buttons now latest cms simple

The old post below. I've now moved to a new server on the latest PHP and cms simple install. Still missing admin buttons and header. Please can anyone give me an idea now. Now on latest PHP/cms: Centos box (2 core, 1Gb, 100Gb) I installed version 1.6.9 (old I know but waiting for php to be updated) ...

All my other sites run on 1.6.9 without any problem.
Whats the latest version I can run with PHP 5.1.6? After trying 2 versions even if I try a later one I don't think its going to fix it.

I installed version 1.6.9 (old I know but waiting for php to be updated) Everything went OK (this is atleast my 4th site). I have no header images, just blank. On all default templates & and my admin submit/cancil buttons are just blank! So I deleted the whole install, even killed the whole doma...

For me to add a facebook widget/script to a sidebar I turn off WYSIWYG and submit. If I go back into that page and and click submit again (say to add content to the main part of the page) WYSIWYG changes the code and breaks the script. Help with header div

why cant I get anything else to display on the same line as the header logo.

IE 2 div on same line

I used to using dreamweeaver and manage to bodge through most things.  i just want an area top right where I can stick adverts.

I'm using a copy of Left simple navigation + 1 column

Extensions/mce basic,  Strip Background Tags From CSS did just what I needed.  I can see what I'm wrinting WOOHOOO!  ;D
