Sorry, I just saw the replies today - I forgot that my email address in my profile was defunct, and was wondering why nobody was replying (via email notification)...
I will let my client know and work with him in deciding. The "winner" will know by direct contact.

I need to be replaced
So due to family and life changes, I'm no longer providing web design services. I have a couple sites that need ongoing minimal maintenance. The sites are currently running older versions of the software. They aren't https secure sites, and neither of them offer transactions online - fairly simple s...

Re: can't access site... what happened?
I decided that the old 'Calendar' module is no longer compatible... so I installed the new CGCalendar, and tweaked the template/CSS to work for the site. Good enough... Thanks for you help... I've tried to leave a trail here on the thread for others to search for if they have similar problems to sea...

Re: can't access site... what happened?
the reason for the original errors was simple and stupid: The host changed the root path of where the files are saved... I as the volunteer admin wasn't notified (unsure if the site owners received any notices). I'm also noticing that the 'use WYSIWYG' button is reversed (checked gives me code, unch...

Re: can't access site... what happened?
Well I did the upgrade, and had to dig into the host's settings to upgrade PHP to 5.3 (was still at 5.1), and the site is now mostly working, except for the event calendar page, which isn't loading the whole template, pagedata, css, for some reason. I'll do some more sleuthing. When I remove the cal...

Re: can't access site... what happened?
I noticed the double slash... but don't know why it would happen now all of a sudden. Nothing seems out of the ordinary from config: #Document root as seen from the webserver. No slash at the end #If page is requested with https use https as root url #e.g. http://blah.com $config['root_url'] = 'http...

can't access site... what happened? [SOLVED]
(might not be the best board... can't find a better one) Here's the site that I help administer: http://www.sledsicamous.com But there is a problem which happened 'randomly' - Neither myself nor the editors for this site have done anything to the core, no changes in the hosting that we know of, and ...

Re: make fancybox title width wider than image?
I know it's not a core issue, but it is related to the jquery module, which is why I'm asking here. I could go and create a new account on some js forum to ask a single question, but thought there are enough smart and experienced people who know jquery and fancy more than me, so I asked here. If it ...

make fancybox title width wider than image?
Is it possible to modify the .js or something somewhere to make the fancybox outer/wrap or the title to be wider than the image? I've got some images in the CG Products module, and some are either small or tall/skinny. I tried hunting through the .js for a few different parts of fancybox, (jquery.fa...

Re: UDT to display list of active sub pages [solved]
never thought about it, and does work. I assumed at first I needed to replace "page_alias" with the page name/alias/ID - but that doesn't work. the variable needs to read #page_alias. Thanks!!

UDT to display list of active sub pages [Solved]
So I'm almost there, thanks to this UDT code - http://wiki.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/Share_your_tags_here#List_the_children_of_the_current_page global $gCms; $manager =& $gCms->GetHierarchyManager(); $thisPage = $gCms->variables['page_name']; $currentNode = &$manager->sureGetNodeByAlias($t...

CG Products + Fancy/LightBox SOLVED
I've got a site I'm setting up which is using Products, and I want the product image to show with fancybox/lightbox, etc when clicked. I initially set this site up about 3+ years ago, have changed and modified it a few times since then, now in development again (to hopefully finish it... long story)...

Re: Installing or Upgrading to 1.9 - Problems and Solutions
I've setup a new site, and when I create new pages, they don't actually show up in the backend page list, or on the front end in the menu until I clear the server cache. What causes this? I've got cache and cache/tmp set to 777, as a page instructed me to do so. I've had this problem on another site...

I'll take it as a no... at least in those who've read it.
This would be a worthwhile ability, IMO. (tracking)
