CSS Menu Template
Im currently using CSSMenu left + 1 column as my template.  I would like to add some menu items, but you have to essentially create a content page for each menu Item.  For example, using the menu structure below: Animals > Dogs > Terrier I have to create a content page for both Animals and Dogs (cre...

loading a javascript
I was playing around with NiftyCube in CMSms and while I can manually add the link to the javascript file in the template header, is there anyway to link it to the template like you do with CSS files. I wonder if this is a feature that can be added if not already a part of the system?  I love how I ...

Re: Trying to set up a CSS menu
Nullig, this is on a test server, so posting a link would not have helped, but I should have specified that also.
KO, thanks for the assistance, I'll try the menus you mentioned and read the help file. I know Ive looked at the other menus available, but I havent looked at the help file yet.

Trying to set up a CSS menu
Im trying to set up a CSS Menu (horizontal) that will validate and work in as many browsers as possible, but Im having a bit of trouble with one things so far. The menus keep showing the text "Current page is 1: Home".  It seems like a menu title or something but I can click on another lin...

Re: CMS MS has come a long way
Thanks for the links to the docs, I have printed them out. I realize that the template is just a xhtml file, but its how the content is generated.  For instance CMSMS uses smarty.  Joomla uses a different method, and Etomite uses yet a different method to call and generate the content.  So while yes...

Re: CMS MS has come a long way
Okay, well perhaps I will get motivated enough to make a pdf.  I think I can fuddle my way around.  The templates will be the hard part.  I have found, since first discovering CMS's and having spent the time to learn Joomla well enough build a site, that I can navigate just about any CMS and use it ...

CMS MS has come a long way
Hello all.  Its been quite some time since I have been here.  I last tried CMS MS when I was first in the hunt for a replacement for Joomla that I was using at the time.  I was then looking for something with a tad bit less of a learning curve.  However, after a lot of reading and such I kinda got m...

Re: Install of latest release
Okay, sorry, next time I'll pay closer attention to the documentation, I must have overlooked that somehow. Anyway, I upgraded and in the process, ran into this error: Upgrading FCKeditorX module from 0.9.7 to 1.0 RC1... Fatal error: Call to undefined method mysql_date_ADOConnection::GenID() in C:\M...

Install of latest release
I thought I would ask since I did not see it mentioned directly anywhere else.  If I install the latest release 0.12 beta, can I just copy the contents over the last release or do I need to go through the installation process again. I dont have anything important built with the last release as I hav...

Re: Some feature ideas/requests
Ahh yes, the community.  Well hopefully as my coding skills grow I can contribute, but for right now they are not that strong. Its too bad that I couldnt simply just point CMSMS to the program and have it run it but keep it under the styling of the CMS.  Kinda like creating a new shortcut on your de...

Beginning and Ending Date Function
So Im at work playing around with CMSMS.  I go to lunch and I bring the manual with me.  Okay, stand down everyone, I know this is an exciting life but bear with me a minute. Okay, back to reality.  I read in the manual that the News module has the function of being able to set a starting and ending...

Re: Message board for CMSMS
As I type this I am multi-tasking grabbing that and PunBB to see what I can come up with.  Thanks for the help.  You might get tired of responding to all my posts cause I plan on doing my best to not only ask a few questions but hopefully answer a few eventually as I get up to speed.  I would despir...
