Re: Search Module not very good at searching?
For example: Go to this site and search "music" and then search "music music" in the top search bar: http://www.top40charts.net You'll notice the second search query will return "No Results Found". Odd? (Notice - I didn't make the above site, I found it on the CMSMS Sho...

Search Module not very good at searching?
I recently moved a site from Joomla to CMSMS and in doing so changed the URL structure of the site. In order to try and ease the process of finding pages based on the old URL system, I made a dynamic 404 page that grabs the URL and sticks it into the search module and runs a query. This works pretty...

Re: Relative links in TinyMCE problem
I fiddled with this for a while and came upon a solution that works for me. 1) Change your template metadata tag to: {metadata showbase="false"} 2) Uncheck "Generate relative urls" in the TinyMCE advanced tab. 3) Follow the instructions here : Starting at line 65 [of modules/Tiny...

Re: Google analytics
jondrew,
Your Google Analytics code looks good to me - the new GA code goes in the HEAD of your page (like you have done), while the older version used to go just before the tag.
Keep in mind it takes 24 hours for the code to start working - so perhaps by now everything is good.

Re: Tokenizer extension is disabled or missing in your PHP,
And after reinstalling 1.2.5 things are back "working" - although I'm wary of having such an out of date CMSMS running.

Re: Tokenizer extension is disabled or missing in your PHP,
Hey guys. I'm getting the same error when trying to upgrade from CMSMS 1.2.5 to 1.6.8. Clearly, the issue seems to be the hosts server... no tokenizer listed on my info file??? -- link removed -- Any ideas? CMSMS 1.2.5 was working perfectly before I started this upgrade. Was there no tokenizer suppo...

Re: My trick for multilingual pages with regular CMS v1.0.6
I know this thread is getting up there in age, and some good work has been put in here: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,19099.0.html ... but so far no multilingual version has worked exactly how I wanted it to. Thus, I've created my own, using similar techniques as posed in this threa...

Re: News Module: parsing {$entry->formatpostdate} into separate outputs
Just found this post...
This works great when you add quotes to cyberman's code above:
{$entry->formatpostdate|date_format:"%b"}
{$entry->formatpostdate|date_format:"%d"}
{$entry->formatpostdate|date_format:"%H:%M"}
Otherwise you get errors.

Re: Local Coffee Roasters :: mochajoes.com
I actually just used the Products module. It's pretty powerful once you start editing the templates. As you can see I only use the summary template, but modified it to also display the description of each 'product'. Also embedded into the template are the Paypal buttons, which get generated using th...

Similar problem. I just want to remove the 'Esc Key' part. (I mean, really... who uses the esc key these days?!) What file is this located in? Anyone?

I generally set my tiny to style, which removes any problems that those pesky s add.
Curious about the formatting. I'm using FF 3.0.1 on mac. Attached is a screen shot.
