I have exactly the same issue and have been unable to solve it yet.
edit:
I made it work with a fresh install. Still don't understand the bug, though. It seems to be a problem with holiday events..

That fixed it! Thank you very much!
Edit: Why is the post with the solution gone?
The problem was line 24 in the plugins/function.content_image.php. It should be:

[solved] CMSMS 1.9 {content_image} tag not working
I just upgraded my 1.8.2 install to the new 1.9 release. Now I don't get any output from my {content_image} tags, no matter what parameters I add. Example page (on the right should be an image): http://moegli.ch/2010/index.php?page=katrinsauter As I read in the release notes of CMSMS 1.9 there have ...

Great choice of colors. I don't like the fonts and spacing too much, though.

The text right beneath the logo ist very hard to read on my 24" screen. What's the point of it anyway? As far as I can tell it says the same as the large text in the header...

Re: Designworks New Zealand meets cms made simple
Just found a minor glitch when browsing the site: On http://www.designworks.co.nz/index.php?page=Guardian_Healthcare there are some useless characters visible on the top left corner (just after the body tag in the source code). Otherwise I found the site very pleasing, particularly the high quality ...

Version 0.4: I'm getting a file compression error when attempting to extract from the .zip file after downloading - Is it just me? Thx. Same issue here on Mac OS Leopard. I suppose the built-in unzipping-software is a bit buggy, as it is not my first zip-file causing trouble. The tar.gz release wor...

I have a problem with TinyMCE not loading in properly. Has anybody else experienced the same problem? Otherwise it's a great release! OK, I just found two other threads reporting the same problem: http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,22697.0.html http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/to...

Re: eisenwerk.ch
The details are displayed in a frame, therefore the fixed height and the scroll bars. This is not an elegant solution, I'd love to use content blocks as already done here: http://www.eisenwerk.ch/programm2.html What bugs me about that is the print output. We can't have the two different print views ...
