Re: Problems uploading images using a MAC...

I use both MAC and PC, the FCK resource editor works OK in both. It may be that there is a permissions issue or less likely a local setting on the MAC browser. As a first step I would check permissions for your 'uploads' folder and sub folders. I would also recommend adding the very good ImageManage...

Re: TinyMCE ADV Module problems

Yes the integration of ImageManager and Tiny does not seem complete yet. In the meantime you could try using  Wei Zhuo's/Paul Moers plugin for FCK, which is the basic source for the ImageManager in CMSMS, in Tiny.  This is a simple plugin for FCK and a very effective image browser for those that nee...

Re: Many problems with modules: Album, CustomContent, FCKeditorX

Margo I agree with you I don't like or use WYSIWYG editors but they are a necessary evil for inexperienced users. I install both Tiny and FCK, Tiny because it's lite and FCK because it has, for some users essential standard features such as templates (the most important feature), Word paste and a be...

Re: how to delete resized images

Image Manager looks at the files in your designated image-upload directory/folder so if the resized image is being saved in the right place it WILL show in your Image Manager(unless it is corrupt). As the resized image is being picked up, as I understand it,  by your WYSIWYG browser and connector bu...

You could try

but perhaps this might be too radical an approach

Yes.
Just click on the image in the second box to insert it at the cursor's position in the edit area

Re: Safari bug (bounty offered)

Just try adding width to

div#logo {
float:left;
width: 500px;
}

it might work!

Re: cmsmadesimple.org and opera 9.21 os x

The problem with the display of this site in Opera and incidentally Safari is that the value "inline-block" which is  in the "clearfix" class should not be included. Because IE(incomplete) and FF do not apply the value—inline-block display—on HTML elements that default to block l...

Site security

Site security is always an issue as we have seen with the number of upgrades to CMSMS recently.

Has anyone any comments on

PHPIDS (PHP-Intrusion Detection System) http://php-ids.org/

just to keep a check on intrusions to a site?

Incorporate CMSMS Image Manager into FCK editor

I have to admit that, personally, I do not use WYSIWYG editors but I do put them into sites for my customers, who are mostly charities with very little understanding of HTML.  The major WYSIWYG editors are all generally good and have their individual strong and weak points but it seems that for the ...

Archive Manager

I have been told by my customers that the "Archive Manager", which is very good and extremely useful for them, works in FF but does not display the Expanded mode in IE and Opera browsers. I think this is because there is, not so much a bug but a typo in one of the templates - listarchives....

Re: <h1> text size bigger in IE than in FX

CMSMS uses the relative "%" or "em" as opposed to absolute sizes such as "px"  for reasons of accessibility.

You will be able the to change the size of text in any of your browsers by going to menu "View - Text Size"

Re: browser viewing problem

Your site displays fine when FF's Web Developer Toolbar - Edit CSS - is used so just try adding

Code: Select all

header("Content-type: text/css");
above

Code: Select all

 $templateid = '';
about line 25 in stylesheet.php

Good luck
