Re: FEU 3x for CMSMS 2.3 upwards only ?

If you aren't using any FEU events rotezecke then it probably OK - events seem to have been delete prematurely if this is aimed at CMSMS 2.2.x

FEU 3x for CMSMS 2.3 upwards only ?

Testing FEU 3.2 in staging to understand if I need to update any smarty; or plugins etc given FEU 3x is a major update. Am I wrong to have concluded that FEU 3x is really a CMSMS 2.3 only upgrade ?. For instance FEU 3x has abandoned events in favour of hooks. In the https://docs.cmsmadesimple.org/ad...

Admin Security

Anyone else experiencing "bots" trying to log in to Admin ? I noticed a while ago on a number of my CMSMS installs (all v2.2.10 +) that the admin log showed some failed logins, but from IP addresses that certainly aren't me nor my clients. I installed a simple event linked UDT similar to https://cms...

Re: CGBetterForms

Found it straight away - and logged a bug on CGBF http://www.apemtp.org/assets/images/formOfficials.jpg The IDs highlighted above are identical, if on this tab the "Display form Inline" is set to NO. http://www.apemtp.org/assets/images/formSetTab1.jpg But as soon as it is set to Yes (because the for...

Re: CGBetterForms

Thanks for your replies Calguy and for investigating this OK, what I have understood of your suggestions is the ID in the hidden field which is part of the mact parameter should match the id part of the hidden field of the form parameter i.e. the two IDs highlighted should be identical http://www.ap...

Re: CGBetterForms

Thanks for the reply Gregor Tried it - removed all spaces - unfortunately still fails As previously mentioned Calguys Avd form {CGBetterForms form="More advanced contact form"} worked OK - so still mystified. I'll var_dump action.default.php and/or copy Calguy's form template and all of the same pre...

Re: CGBetterForms

Thanks for the reply DIGI3

No just capital letters and spaces

Code: Select all

{CGBetterForms form="APEMTP Contact Officials"}
Template has the same name and my browser's inspector shows that the params sent within the POST look properly formed

CGBetterForms

Bit mystified by current issue! Got a simple contact form, which is throwing an exception but I'm not sure why Getting the message "Please specify a form name when calling CGBetterForms" which is from line 12 from CGBetterForms/action.default.php in response to this $formname = \cge_param::get_strin...

Re: Admin White Screening

Thanks for the reply rahulu - right back at the start of this issue Digi3 suggested looking at the PHP errors; and because I use a shared hosting system that isn't possible; but I did immediately install a php.ini I commonly use elsewhere which included a memory directive and since then - no more wh...

Re: Admin White Screening

Thanks Velden & rotezecke for your replies I too am starting to strongly suspect that these characters are being displayed from lang files; and perhaps the FEU lang files. A view source of what the browser receives for the forgotten password page shows the H5 is getting corrupted <h5></</Forgotten P...

Re: Admin White Screening

Thanks for your replies DrCSS and Velden Dr CSS - was PHP 7.3.3; toggled it back to PHP5.6 to see if it made any difference - it didn't - same problem there; now back on PHP7.3.3 again http://www.apemtp.org/uploads/images/ajax13.jpg Velden: I've a few things to try to try to narrow it down. currentl...

Re: Admin White Screening

Ummm - I know little of ajax.... but what appears to upsetting the ajax being served is it starts with the characters "</</" And ever page received in Admin has these (spurious ?) characters prior to the doctype declaration http://www.apemtp.org/uploads/images/ajax11.jpg And half of them in the fron...

Re: Admin White Screening

Thanks for your reply Velden - you are absolutely right - I hadn't understood your point - my expertise in using browser dev tools is minimal and did't know how to find ajax responses (The Firefox Inspector and Chrome's seem pretty similar) I am not sure what I'm looking for in the responses http://...

Re: Admin White Screening

Thanks Calguy / Velden for your replies Yes as previously noted JS errors are evident in the browsers development tools and I understand, as Calguy highlights, these AJAX calls are being served from php scripts Trouble is 1&1 as is common with many shared hosting accounts do not allow clients access...
