Is CMS Made simple 1.6.6. OK with PHP 5.4 and MSQL 5.5
I am running CMS made simple 1.6.6 "Bonde". I have made no changes to the underlying scripts. It is basically out of the box.
My ISP is updating the server to PHP (5.4) and MySQL (5.5)
Is 1.6.6 OK with this updated software?
Thanks for your help

Re: Google Site Map using only MenuManager (and mod_rewrite)
Kermit, Thank a lot for your reply. I think I must have made a fundamental error somewhere. I understand about making a Menu Manager Template. It seems clear although I have not done one yet - are there any Gotchas!? But where does this code go in the page: {menu template='google_sitemap' show_all...

Re: Error messages on top of screen
Brilliant! And thanks!
Do I have to do that on a regular basis? After making changes for example?

Error messages on top of screen [Solved]
This has been discussed elsewhere, but I am still in difficulty. The error messages are: Warning: fopen(/usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/newlifetoledo.com/httpdocs/tmp/cache/contentcache.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/newlifetoledo.com/httpdoc...

Re: News module - displaying all the news item
Hello there,
Yep - all works as you said - as if I doubted!
I now have a much better understanding of how the news module works.
Thank you very much for your patience. I shall enjoy continuing to use this CMS - quite the most usable I have tried, and it does what I want.
All the best to you
Ed

You have been brilliantly helpful. Due to commitments here, I will need to log-off now until tomorrow evening (English time) so will be unable to try it out. I opened the News page, went to HTML and saw this: {ldelim}news number='5' category='General'} Does that help you? This is from a bog-standard install of CMSMadeSimple. The News section in teh Template is: {* Start News *} News {news number='3' detailpage='news' datefor...

Re: News module - displaying all the news item
Thanks. I follow that! Given that, how come removing the "News" page:- In the Content > Pages there is a page called "News" - No 4.1.1 Stops these links from the News panel from working? That now is the bit I simply fail to grasp - unless of course it was a strange anomalie? Th...
