I don't know if anyone is interested but it may avoid someone going down the same problems...
Gladius DB looked a good idea but it does not currently support the ALTER query or DT so it cannot easily be used with CMSMS

Hi I see that CMS is shipped with the driver for the gladius flat file DB, but that DB is not an install option? I have a couple of sites with php but no sql, so..... Has anyone either tried to mod CMS to use this or got any idea how big a deal it would be? If its just the installer, I would be tem...
