the design although simple seems to work well for your requirements but have to say very well done with the increase in traffic It is nice to see a "show off" who is pleased to show off - and rightly so show off i feel is not just how good a site looks but how well it performs which shows ...

i have seen other sites that have removed the cmsms branding from the admin section such as on the logiins etc i personally going to keep it on my sites but also putting cmsms in my partners area on my designing site as i proud of the fact i use this software, also always playing with skins and hope...

did forget to mention mine is setup to work along with my own site template so your div styles etc willl need to be different,

could be host of reasons
1. may not have enough memory -
2. failed install of module - (myself this always gallery unless use mod)
please post if you done anything to your cmsms since installing and the community will happily help you out

{$customcontent_loginname} can also be replaced with {$username} and seems to sometimes work too

you can place it inside your normal css file, you just need to amend you tpl file in menumanager to assign to the relevant class and div

instead breadcrumbs would be more something with a little custome content part or similar style - think i done something similar on www.hallowhouse.com in top right once logged in that changes to that
