Dotted Box
God I hate internet explorer. On some older versions of IE the site I'm building doesn't look quite right. The gap above my content and news is too big, and then the two dotted lines down the sides come down too far look: http://www.amieburnswalker.com/development/images/abw.jpg You can see how this...

Re: [Solved] My Own Default Install
Thanks Mark!
I'll create my perfect "default" website, then download all the files onto my hard drive via ftp.
Go to my new webspace and copy the old database into that one, then simply upload the files.
Many thanks.

[Solved] My Own Default Install
Hello All, I am building a lot of CMSMS websites at the moment that are all virtually the same. Every time I install CMMS I have to add the same modules, change the srftime, delete the default templates and add my own, add all the same news items and content. And all of my sites are roughly identica...

Re: Login, with the Username already inserted.
Well my issue must have arisen before. I have multiple CMS installations, most are on my own server and some are on others. Then sometimes my users own their own domains, have their CMS installation on my server and use add-on domain to link the two together, sometimes they use Web Diversion to view...

Re: Login, with the Username already inserted.
I hear you Ronny, Lord knows I do. But I don't want this to be a cookies, passwords, browser issue. I'm having users directed to their login pages from another space, where they've already typed their username in. I don't want for them to have to do it again. You see? There must be a way, in the sam...

Login, with the Username already inserted.
I know this sounds like a bizarre request, but... Is there anyway of modifying the CMSMS code so that a Username is already in the Username box when you load up the admin login panel? I have good reason to want this. When my user goes to www.website.com/admin. I want the password box to be empty, bu...

Grouping Logins
I apologize straight away, this post may well be in the wrong place, I couldn't think of a better place to put it (move?). I am installing several CMSMS installations onto one server. eg: www.website.com/install_1 www.website.com/install_2 www.website.com/install_3 Obviously my different users will ...

Limiting News Items
Hi, I'm sure this has been covered but I don't seem to be able to find out where... I have 2 news blocks, one on the HOME PAGE and one on a NEWS PAGE. I want the one on my home page to be limited to 3 news items, and I want the one on my news page to list ALL of my news items. If I use the parameter...

That did it, thanks so much Mark.
Site done,
This time I've written everything I've learnt down as I've gone along. It can only get easier.
Ciao

[SOLVED] Small Alignment issue...
I want to align something slightly differently and I'm fairly sure it's a CSS issue. I want the text on the right to be aligned exactly with the the photo on the left. So the text needs to be nudged up a fraction. They should both come off the same horizontal line. Presumably it's getting rid of pad...

Re: Use templates plugin in tinymce
I'd really like to get this working too. I've done the same as Yabune but tried putting the code in the literal tags as was suggested, like this: template_templates : [ {literal} { title : "template", src : "template.htm", description : "Adds Editors Name and Staff ID"...

Got it!
It was in the style sheet. That's not stylish at all is it?
Many thanks!

[SOLVED] Firefox Compatibility, quick issue... - WITH THANKS!
Hi all, this a really quick one, I could do with your council on... My site: In Safari it looks fine, but in Firefox , the stylesheet doesn't seem to be attached. So it looks terrible. I'm sure it was working earlier, I think I've been working on it too long. My eyes are crossed. Can anyone spot wha...

Re: Play Module, Sizing the Neolao MP3 Player
It's time to look for some help with this idea, what do you all think? What I was thinking: Wouldn't it be good if there were 2 folders in the "uploads" folder, one called "sound" and one called "video", and when the user added mp3's or flv's to those folders they were ...
