Re: Inserting Forms
Thanks cyberman
I think I'll try form builder first and if that fails come back to the other options.
Regards
Mike

Re: Inserting Forms
You should switch off your WYSIWYG editor for this work. If you are ready, dont touch this pages once again ... So you're saying I need to turn off Tiny MCE, add the form code to the page and then never touch that page again? That's a bit tricky when it's a competition page which gets updated twice...

Statcounter [solved]
I like www.statcounter.com
Currently I paste their code at the bottom of each page but is there somewhere I can place it once and forget about it, like the footer content block?

Inserting Forms [solved]
I'm continually having problems getting externally generated forms to work. I turn WYSIWYG off and paste the code in html form then submit the page but CMSMS changes the code which prevents the forms from working. It was suggested that I place {literal} and {/literal} tags at each end of the code bu...

I found cubics.com I can't seem to find a relevant place to report them.
Their site is hosted by NETTICA.COM so that would be a good place to start and also report them to GOOGLE

Re: News detail page using template for page it's on, I want to use other template..
Thanks Mark I had inadvertantly deleted the "News" page along with all the other pages in the default install. I've been scouring the templates and CSS to try and see what I'd done wrong and, as quite often happens, the answer was simple! Sometimes it's difficult to see the wood from the t...

If someone put Google Adverts on your site you should be able to find out who it was because the code will be unique to them as presumably they're trying to get revenue from clicks on your site?

Re: News detail page using template for page it's on, I want to use other template..
Oh dear, maybe I'm not explaining this properly. In the default installation of CMSMS, I doesn't matter what page you're sitting on, when you click on a News Item Link the title of the page in the main content area changes to "News" and the news detail appears below it. I seem to have brok...

Re: News detail page using template for page it's on, I want to use other template..
Hi Mark You're right to not understand what I'm talking about because I seem to have broken the display of news on all three sites I've built using CMSMS and I've done it inadvertantly so I don't know how to fix it. Normally, in the default installation, if you're sitting on the Home page the top of...

Question for Mark: News detail page using template for page it's on
If you go to Extensions » Modules then click on the Module name, ie. News, or the word Help, on the right, you get the parameters it will take, such as this from News... So you make a page called news and have it not shown in the menu and use the template of your choice... With pages like this I us...

I believe this is a different issue to the one discussed under "A desperate story" In an attempt to find a user-friendly solution to backing-up and restoring databases I have had to delete a CMSMS installation several times. Unfortunately, when I try to delete certain files/folders using f...
