On the page http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/downloads/ at the bottom under the heading Subversion you read
svn co http://svn.cmsmadesimple.org/svn/cmsmad ... ches/trunk

which is wrong (the path doesn't exist). It should read instead
svn co http://svn.cmsmadesimple.org/svn/cmsmadesimple/trunk

The param ext is missing from cms_selflink. This will break a lot of occurences.
Apparently from the code I guess it was deliberately left out - for what reasons?
Will it be added in again later in the beta?

The tag modified_date is returning an empty string instead of the modified date.

MleCMS does install ok under the beta - but when you go to Mle CMS under the content it displays an unformatted page with these entries:
Multilang config
Snippets
Blocks
Translator
Multilang template
Options
Apparently the admin panel does not install ok.
