Re: Incorrect Meta tags that inserted into every page
Found the issue
When I uninstalled SEOTools2, the incorrect meta disappeared
But now of course I have no SEOTools which I need.
Is there any other modules that can help with SEO available for CMS Made Simple?

Incorrect Meta tags that inserted into every page
I have these tags showing at the top of every page in my CMS 2.27 website:- <meta name='description' content='' /> <__html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en"> <head> These are not consistent with w3 standards and I wish to fix them. But try as ...

Re: cms_selflink isn't working for me
Thanks for your update.
At least I know now that its not as easy as it might appear for News and Summaries links ... is this something that could be fixed sometime? Its certainly not obvious nor easy to spot that the links are coming out incorrectly

cms_selflink isn't working for me
Hi I've recently upgraded from 2.2.7 from 1.xx and everything at last is fine apart from one thing. Already created cms_selflink links made before the upgrade were not rendered as real href links to the right page these were just shown as eg <a href="{cms_selflink href='reflector-antennas'}&quo...

Re: Missing 'Template types/Prototypes after Upgrade to 2.2.
In the end, I tried something else which did work. I removed the News and Search modules, then reinstalld them. Now This is a bit of a silly idea as it does trash all preferences and data within that module, but in my case I wanted to refresh the templates for these. Search worked fine, News did too...

Missing 'Template types/Prototypes after Upgrade to 2.2.7
I've now more or less successfully upgraded to 2.2.7 But I have issues with templates where some of these werent imported somehow, ie News and search modules For now i've commented out the Template i'm using that uses these but I can't see to add 'Template Type/Prototype' to the existing ones as I h...

Re: When using PHAR upgrade to vers2 old install isnt found
That seems to have fixed it! Why those files were missing is very bizarre.
Upgrade to 2.2.7 complete. I ahve some other issues relating to almost all pages with an error saying
ERROR: The page XXXXX Refers to a template with id 2 That was not found in the database
How can I fix this ?

Re: When using PHAR upgrade to vers2 old install isnt found
thanks for this
It appears that these files are missing:-
/lib/version.php
/lib/include.php
I guess I need to get these from the full installer for this older version? Or does it matter what is in the files apart from the fact they are prsent?

Hi
Yes the PHP installer is in the root of the web server files for this site.
Do you have any other ideas at all ? I really wanted to get this updated whilst it was quiet but hit this unexpected blocker

Upgrade 1.9.1 to latest - best approach ??
Hi I've taken over a site which will soon be replaced with probably a different CMS ... But for now, what's the best advice to upgrade a small ten page site to latest version? Is it better to upgrade to 1.10 first (ie a stage at a time), or can I upgrade to 1.11.9 in one go? Also what is the securit...
