CMS on Production Site

I'm creating a new site and was thinking about using this software.  I had a few questions about the new releases.

1) Should I install rc2 today and then be able to upgrade to the full version release?
2) Will the current modules work with the full version?
3) Anything else I should consider?

The differences are a few files in core and modules (no problems for upgrade)

2) Will the current modules work with the full version?

Which modules? If your modules work in rc2 then work in final too.

3) Anything else I should consider?

Always backup, backup, backup, backup, backup .....
