Hackers on CMSMS Forge ???

Today I've made a look to Download Counter on CMSms Forge. I'm wondering about visible values. A module was more downloaded as the main application .

Thanks Dee - is there no mechanism inside Forge to block such attacks (from same ip) ?

Statistics which are modified in such ways are very useless  ...

It seems there's no such mechanism at the moment (obviously  )
Some kind of block/ban after a (really) large number of downloads in a short timespan does seem in place.

Ted bans them manually now, another small (follow-up) quote:

www.wesnoth.org heavy downloads are available via SourceForge. The project is hosted on another forge : GNA!. This separates software making from bandwidth management.
