I am about to give up on Joomla because of an issue regarding permissions for unregistered users. I want to try CMSms, but I'd also be extremely grateful for some advice on whether I'll be able to make it work for what I have in mind.
I want to allow visitors who are not registered users to submit content. The content will then be approved by an administrator and posted to the site in a blog format.
My issue with Joomla is that visitors must go through a registration process that includes a reply to a verification email before they can submit an article. For my purposes I'm afraid this is a discouraging amount of bureaucracy.
Will CMSms work for what I have in mind?
Thanks for your consideration.

Re: allow unregistered user to submit content?
CMS has an addon comments module that will allow public users to add comments to pages or to news articles, etc.
