Restrict Editing to certain sections of site? Topic is solved

Hi

I need to implement a CMS and have been looking at various options, and I have to say that CMSMS is the clear favourite so far!  I have one question about it, though, and I hope someone can help.

One of my requirements is to restrict the editing of parts of the site to certain users (or groups). For instance, the site http://mycompany.com/products should only be editable by people in one department, and http://mycompany.com/services should only be editable by a different department.  Is it possible in CMSMS to restrict the editing of sub-directories in this way?

Not yet, but this may change as the permissions system needs to be refactored before a 1.0 release.
The way to implement it now is to add each user (or group, dunno?) as additional editor to the page, but to restrict editing pages in general from these users.
