Gallery users with only Use Gallery rights can't delete img

I have made a simple site where some limited users only have rights to edit their own Gallery. They only have the permission 'Use Gallery'.

With that they can edit their own gallery almost without any problems.
The only problem is that they can't delete any images they have uploaded.

The only way I can get a user to delete an image is to give them the 'Edit all galleries' permission. But that defeats the whole setup of giving them rights to only their own gallery, because then it's possible to change all other galleries too.

Am I missing something or am I trying to do the impossible?
