I'm slowly moving from CMSMS 1.x to CMSMS 2.x.

Some things are different ... :-(.

Is it possible to disable creating UTF-8 aliases and URLs?

For example: I want "nice & safe" domain.tld/escrz and no domain.tld/ěščřž.

Maybe it's posssible to set it somewhere in admin area - I didn't find it.

In the past browsers did not support extended characters in URLs... however, by and large, they do very well now.

So CMSMS 2.x now supports creating page aliases and page URLs using the extended UTF-8 character set. This helps with internationalization.

When adding or editing a page and not manually specifying a page alias, it will be calculated from the page title and will use the extended character set. You can however still manually enter the page aliases and URL stubs that you want. There is no option to revert to the old behavior.
