Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: Plugin "extended_nms_list"
Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: Plugin "extended_nms_list"
Upgrade wizard from a working 1.12 test installation to 2.0 RC1 went through without any errors.
However, after installation is complete, neither the website nor the admin page load, and they just display this error:
Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: Plugin "extended_nms_list" not callable <-- thrown in /var/sites/b/beta.xxxxxx.co.uk/public_html/lib/smarty/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php on line 137
Any ideas?

Re: Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: Plugin "extended_nms_l
"extended_nms_list" looks like it has something to do with the Module called Newsletters Made Simple. Or, perhaps a different plugin/module that is supposed to interact with that module.
There is a list on the forum of known compatible 2.0 modules. And, you might check at the Development Forge for any NMS release notes or bug reports regarding 2.0 compatibility.

Re: Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: Plugin "extended_nms_l
Thanks. I grepped my modules directory and it appears to be a component of "ExtendedTools" which is required for "RSSSimplePie".
I'll file a bug report.

I don't think those modules have been updated for 2 to 3 years now ![Sad :(](./images/smilies/sad.gif)

Re: Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: Plugin "extended_nms_l
True. But the modules are not marked stale so maybe the dev, xxl, is still around somewhere. ![Smiley :)](./images/smilies/smiley.gif)

Re: Fatal error: Uncaught --> Smarty: Plugin "extended_nms_l
But if someone knows of another module that can read RSS feeds and display them as html I'd be prepared to switch...

I am sorry, but this board is for cmsms core issues only.
If the problem is with a third party module (even with one of mine) and you can reliably reproduce the problem then you need to use the traditional bug reporting mechanism to report bugs with third party modules.

Thanks for your reply..
Yes, since the php error message did not contain the modules directory within the path to the problem file I thought it might be core, but I've since identified the problem module and reported the error.
