[Solved] Infinite redirect when upgrading to 1.11.13

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

[Solved] Infinite redirect when upgrading to 1.11.13

Post by pschoenb »

Hello,

when upgrading from 1.11.11 to 1.11.13 using either the diff file or the full version, I get an infinite redirection loop.

What could be the reason?

If I use the upgrade process, it goes back to Step 1 after 5 and a loop when accessing the CMS. If I use just the diff files, I get a loop as soon as I access the CMS.

uninstall the modules you don't use and I see a lot of modules that are no longer in the Forge or that ar marked as stale.

After you posted the system info, it's clear that you have a few problems... I hope you have a backup, and I recommend that you setup a staging site to test an upgrade before you do it on the actual online site.
For one you have some modules on that list that most likely are not working properly with the latest version of CMSMS. Additionally, all CG Modules need PHP 5.4+ and you currently have 5.3.x with CGExtensions 1.45... You need to do some research and testing on a staging site beforehand imo.

Upgraded to PHP 5.5 and tried the upgrade again. Still the same behavior.

As I wrote before: you have a lot of old modules. Time for a cleanup.
