[Solved] Asign an editor to the content of one single page

Post by Cognatus »

I'm trying to figure out how I set up the Group Permissions for a group to aply for one of the pages and restricted to only the content of that page.

I have tried fiddling with the Site Admin -> Global Settings -> Content Editing Settings but have not been able to change anything. I don't understand whats supposed to happen, I have tried marking different stuff in "Content Types that are NOT allowed:" and "Basic Properties" and submitting, but nothing happens?

Please guide me... :-\

You can create a new group that does NOT have the 'Modify Any Page' permission and NOT 'Manage All Content' permission.

Then on the specific content page in the Options tab you have this 'Additional Editors' select box where you can select the group.

NOTE: it's a multi-select box and it seems to so intuitive. The selected editor(s)/group(s) need to be highlighted. You can select one or multiple (ctrl-click).

After Apply/Submit you'll notice the selected will stay highlighted.
