I have a problem where every couple days I have to manually clear the cache because the default menu disappears until I do so. My client is getting frustrated with the problem. I have searched and have not found anything very helpful. I have included my info below. If anyone has experienced this or has fixed this please respond.

Has the client cleared their browser cache, temp internet files?

If i remeber right, there were some issues with menu pre 1.10.3, so i would suggest you try upgrading first.
Also see your php error logs, if menu disapears it could be related to some kind of error but you might have errors surpresed.
