I am running CMS version 1.10.3.
PHP version 5.2.17
mysql v. 5.5.23
Apache running on Linux 3.2.17

Whenever I select a page to be edited all the content appears in html even without the html button being selected. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Sounds like the editor isn't working...

Did you upgrade this from another version or fresh install, do you have an editor chosen in My Preferences, etc. etc., as always more info = more help...

My apologies. I read the recommendations for posting questions. However, I am unsure what info I should provide you with.

This was a fresh install. Installation was completed about 6 months ago. As for the editor,
I have WYSIWYG editor enabled while editing Global Content Blocks.
The editor is MicroTiny.

This worked fine when it was installed. I logged in today and noticed this issue.

Thanks.

Try clearing the cache, and perhaps run the checksum to see if any editor files are missing. You can also try switching to TinyMCE temporarily to see if that fixes it. Also, try creating a new user, perhaps a user pref is wrong/corrupt/missing.

I have cleared the cache, and completed the checksum. No problems found.

The problem still persists.

The only editor I can select in 'User Preferences' is MicroTiny. I do not have the option for TinyMCE. Do I need to download it?

Also, are you referring to creating a new user in the database?

Thanks for your assistance.

The alternate editor would be installed via ModuleManager. For the user, just create a user like you would for any other user, then log in as them. Just trying to determine if the problem is install-wide or just attached to your account.

Hi,
I just found that the module CodeMirror version 2.31 breaks my editor (in my case TinyMCE). Disabling CodeMirror fixed it.
So maybe you have CodeMirror or another module installed that is causing the problems.
I wanted to issue a bug report, but I found there already is one:

Good luck

Reinhard
