I have used CTLmodulemaker a couple of times with success. I have started a new site with latest CMSMS version and uploaded the module. Seemed to be going OK until I wanted to put in the fields >> comment returned unable to find the module. Has anyone else had this problem?
By the way, I have uninstalled and removed the module then reinstalled it but same problem.
Thanks to anyone who can help me.

WD
PS also how do I remove my own posts on this forum? some are old and answered.

I bet you installed in from extensions > modules using an XML or uploaded it to server using FTP, I would check in extensions > Module managter to see if it shows up, it may not be ready for the 1.10.* series...

Right click and view source is a great way to see what you have to work with.
Check ver. CMSMS, PHP, server OS, in System Information page.

I installed it through Module Manager. I just tried for a third time but the same occurs >> the CTModuleMaker appears under extensions and a new module can be started. Entities can be entered but when you go to add a field the following comes up >>> Could not find CTLModuleMaker

thanks WD

When it comes to CTLModulemaker I love to help, but my posts in this forum keep being deleted again and again.
So this time another approach.
Try my link to http://www.ctlmm.com
Look for 1.10.3 in the sidebar

If it needs those kind of changes then it really isn't ready for the 1.10.* series...

Someone needs to file a bug report, and maybe and that work around in the modules forge page...

There is already a bug report about this issue including the fix but unfortunately the developer(plger) cannot continue the development of the module, and I don't have the PHP skills to do so.
But since a lot of people are using their created modules(including me) I try to help wherever I can to keep them working in future versions of CMSMS.
I will contact the developer. Perhaps he is willing to fix at least a few incompatibilities.
