Product/Orders/PaypalGateway/Shipping problems

Hi,

I'm recently upgraded my store to the latest e-commerce modules from Calguy1000.
I'm experiencing quite a few problems.
I'm using

Core CMS 1.6.4
CGExtensions 1.17.2
Cart 1.4.2
CGPaymentGatewayBase 1.0.2
DestinationBasedShipping 1.1
Orders 1.5.2
PaypalGateway 2.1
Products 2.4.3

Basicly I have sorted out all the issues but 3:

Destinationbased shipping:
This is not working anymore since the upgrade. Not showing the prices in the templates, nor in the email. Not calculated at all.
PayPalGateway:
When trying to checkout, the PayPal website return following error:
Quote:
The link you have used to enter the PayPal system contains an incorrectly formatted item amount.

Tried to fix it like I did with previous version according to this thread http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.php/topic,33026.0.html but didn't find the proper code.
Promotions:
It looks like if I can't store my conditions for a promotion. Whenever I click on the add button, the conditions are not stored, and so the promotion is not working.

Quite a few issues I have to figure out, and I'd appreciate some help from more experienced forum members

In order to get my shop back online, can I downgrade the Orders module back to 1.4?
If so, how do I do that?

I'd imagine download the desired version for each module, delete it's current folder in /modules and upload the older version. Can't guarantee, but has worked for me in the past.

So, is it easy enough to downgrade the Orders Module?

No it isn't easy to go back. When you upgrade it changes the tables in the database. If you roll back the older version won't be able to find the fields.

I've read a couple of times on these forums where it's been mentioned that perhaps developers are too quick to release updates. I have to agree in this instance.

Yesterday I had working shopping cart. Today I have a very unhappy client and no sign of a resolution.

One person reported to me that his problem was caused by CMSMS core, not Orders.

"I downgraded from 1.6.6 to 1.6.5 and it worked."

So you might try downgrading the version of CMS Made Simple to 1.6.5.

Archive your existing orders. Export them or whatever.

Then go to the CMSMS Forge to find the older version of the core and do a clean install.

Your new install will not have any of your existing orders.

What is the definition of a 'Clean Install'?

If you are going to get help in this forum, you should describe your problem and give system information. What do you mean by saying "cart that doesn't work"? I have installed the newest modules for the E-commerce suite on two different installations, except of bugs I have already reported, I do not encounter any issues.

I gave all the information I could possibly gather on another thread about this topic.

The one you were responding to yesterday.

I understand that stupid people like me are a frustration but I really need to fix this issue with the KNOWN issues with

Orders 1.6.7
FEU
CMSMS 1.6.6

As I cannot seem to follow your instructions on fixing the bugs it would seem prudent to revert back Core 1.6.5

A Clean Install: does that mean I delete all files in my home directory? Does that mean I will be reinstalling all my templates? We're talking 3 weeks work down the drain because I upgraded to Orders 1.6.7
