[SOLVED] Listit2 Field Definitions disappeared after upload

Post by nervino »

Hi, I've made a Listit2 instance (called it Listit2Video). All wonderfull.
I've hence published the site, uploaded all files and imported MySQL; the site's page that load the Listit2 instance does not looks like as expected: going to the Listit2Video's Field Definitions tab I can't see any field in the list (I had 12 fields) while categories are visible.
I've looked at Listit2Video MySQL tables and it's all ok.
I've repeated the publication process, cleared cache, but nothing changed.

Is there any setting or action I've forgot to do?

Thank you

Did you rescan the fields? I believe it's needed (and mentioned in the module help) iirc.

Olè! Thank you Jo!
I guessed I had missed something; and you remember correctly:
After you are done writing your own custom field definition, you will have to go to "Modules » ListIt2" click on "Field Definitions" tab and scan for new field definitions by clicking on "Scan Field Definitions" button.
(To whom it may concern: The scan has to be done in ListIt2 module, NOT in the instance).

Thanks.
