nebtanhai,

Does a test mail go out using the button in mail settings (extensions/CMSMailer)?
Which CMSMS version are you on?

Also, self registration module works. Newsletter works, but does not send a message to default owner.

1 Did you test by your self, on a mail address of your domain ?
2 Did you tested CMSMailer on a mail address of your domain?
3 The default owner has email address outside of domain ?

bye

I tested with external, non-affiliated email addresses.
I tested CMSMailer with an external non-affiliated address and the test was successful.
the email address of the default owner is the same extension as domain.

nebtanhai,

Do I draw the correct conclusion that CMSMailer works (so you get test mails)?
Bear in mind that ServiceDesk sends a mail only from a front end submission. So adding an incident in the back end will not send mails.

yes CMSMailer does send email no problem. I have been testing through the front end. The form doesn't go anywhere. I fill the form out and hit submit, it goes back to the form, it should be going to page alias thanks

nebtanhai,

Is a mail being send to the administrator (turn flags on/off in tab Mail Setting).
Do you use special settings on the {cms_module module=ServiceDesk ...} tag?

With the help of Duketown last night, we determined it may not actually be a "mail" issue, but more of a FEU form issue as the news module, service desk and mailtrain are not submitting or cancelling forms. however, newsletter and self registration do submit forms. Curious... is there any way this is something that may be translating from mysql? I ask because I did a fresh install of 1.10 CMSMS but I used the same mysql table. I looked in there, but couldn't find any issues blaring. Still looking for a solution. Thanks to all who have been helping thus far.

To test you can uninstall FEU and install it fresh...

I did that...even uninstalled and completely removed, then redownloaded...and not just FEU, but all the modules related to any mailing functions.

I am still interested in getting help on this subject and am willing to pay someone for their services for troubleshooting. Please message me with your rates and time frame if you think this is something you can fix. Thank you!

I am still having issues with this, just this site. Saddlecreekliving.com/Save
username:hurley
password:frofro

This is my test site. For more info here, please contact me.

All of my other sites, no problem. But this one? I am ready to pull my hair out.

Service Desk Silver and MailTrain will not submit.

NMS Newsletter Subscribe and FrontEndUsers Login and Self-Registration work like a charm.

My client is completely frustrated and after creating a new database and reinserting content, then reinstalling CMSMadeSimple fresh I am at a complete loss. I have used these two modules on at least 4 other sites and they work great.

Somebody please rescue me. I am willing to pay.
