Not sure if this is an item for this part of the forum.
Running Beta-4, and using a menu with a section header as top menu label. Using iPad's Safari browser the menu items underneath the section header do not display. regardless of the template being used. Similar section header using CMSMS 1.9.4.3 display's correctly.
Safari run ontop of Max OSX (Lion) does not suffer from this issue.
let me know if you require a more detailed explanation.

That is because the ipad doesn't have hover functionality.
The solution is to create a landing page instead of a section header, not very elegant imo.
Not tested this, but maybe it works:
