I'm using the following:
CMS Version 1.6.6
CMSMailer 1.73.14
CGExtensions 1.17.6
NMS 2.2.3
I've got my NMS installed and users can join a mailing list. The confirmation email is delivered successfully but when I click the confirmurl I'm usually presented with an "Internal Server Error 500". In my experience this has been down to a dodgy .htacess file. Does anyone have any suggestions? Or is anyone else getting this problem?
I've been playing about and if I reinstall NMS from scratch the first email sent has a working link, but any others don't.

Re: NMS, .htaccess, mod_rewrite and confirmation emails
*bump*
I'm still having some issues with this.
I should point out that I have pretty url's enabled and mod_rewrite.
There doesn't seem to be any difference in the structure of the confirmation url generated, only the unique id. Some of them cause the 500 server error, others work perfectly.

Re: NMS, .htaccess, mod_rewrite and confirmation emails
Solved.
It appears that if a user signs up and doesn't confirm their email, then attempts to sign up again with the same email address this error occurs. If you use another email address that hasn't been submitted before it works fine.
Bug, or by design?
