Site still underconstruction - also it is not porn, the campsite just happens to be on a road called beaverland.

Thank you!

Not sure what I'm doing wrong with this tag. I have the following on a page:

{object type='flash' src='uploads/flash/marga.swf' height='480' width='640' param='quality::high||bgcolor::#000000' alt='Download Flash Player'}

I can play the .swf file on my desktop, no problem. But I get nothing with this tag in my browser. Here is a link to the page. The flash apparently loads OK. I am a complete noob when it comes to flash...just starting to get into it. I need to get this going for a site for a client.

Any help is appreciated!

When i add an swf {object} in a page along with a lightwindow js popup for images, the flash movie is always on front?
Anyone knows how to fix that?

How about adding a style for the lightwindow that includes z-index of say 1000000 to keep it always on top?

Just wanted to thank you for this great tag - worked first time.  I had been searching for a way of showing Flash within content.

Thanks!   :D

Is there a way to recognise which flash version user has and show alternative content if it's below that version (for example below flash player eight)?

that would need some javascript but is a interesting feature, ca you post that as a feature request on the object tag project page. I´ll see what I can do.. maybe release a nre version..

Hi Viebig,

I need some help with 2 codes
The first one is a player : http://www.zoomjeune.be/candidats/c2009 ... e-act.html (the green one)

Code: Select all

<object width="442" height="264" data="https://ak-secure-beatport.bpddn.com/swf/beatportplayer.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
<param value="https://ak-secure-beatport.bpddn.com/swf/beatportplayer.swf" name="movie"/>
<param value="internal" name="allownetworking"/>
<param value="never" name="allowScriptAccess"/>
<param value="false" name="enableJSURL"/>
<param value="false" name="enableHREF"/>
<param value="true" name="saveEmbedTags"/>
<param value="bpCfgPath=http://player.beatport.com/en-US/xml/gui/swf/configuration/3&playerId=498068&autoplay=0&volume=80" name="flashvars"/>
<param value="false" name="loop"/>
<param value="false" name="menu"/>
<param value="high" name="quality"/>
<param value="lt" name="salign"/>
<param value="noscale" name="scale"/>
</object>
And this who is not valid (audio flux webradio) : http://www.zoomjeune.be/ (the radio on middle page)

Code: Select all

<div id="HeaderPlayer"><div id="PlayerMain">
<div id="Logo"><a href="#" id="player-logo-link" target="Content">
<img id="player-logo-img" alt="Logo" title="Logo" /></a></div><div id="RadioName"></div>
<div id="Title"></div><div id="Artist"></div><div id="PlayPause"><img id="btnPlayPause" alt="Play/Pause" /></div>
<div id="Volume"><div id="Volume1"></div><div id="Volume2"></div><div id="Volume3"></div>
<div id="Volume4"></div><div id="Volume5"></div></div>
<div id="ExtPlayers"><a href="http://listen.radionomy.com/zoom-jeunes-radio.m3u" target="_blank">
<img src="http://www.radionomy.com/Images/winamp16.png" alt="Winamp" title="Winamp" /></a>
<a href="http://listen.radionomy.com/zoom-jeunes-radio.m3u" target="_blank">
<img src="http://www.radionomy.com/Images/wmp16.png" alt="Windows Media Player" title="Windows Media Player" /></a>
<a href="http://listen.radionomy.com/zoom-jeunes-radio.m3u" target="_blank">
<img src="http://www.radionomy.com/Images/itunes16.png" alt="iTunes" title="iTunes" /></a></div>
<div id="Detach"><img id="btnDetach" alt="Detach" title="Detach" style="border:0px; cursor:pointer;" onclick="DetachPlayer();" /></div>
<div id="Export">
<a href="#" id="player-export" target="Content"><img id="btnExport" alt="Export" title="Export" /></a>
</div><div id="Comments"></div>
<div id="RadionomyLogo"><a href="http://www.radionomy.com" target="_blank">
<img id="RadioLogo" src="http://www.radionomy.com/Images/radionomyV.gif" alt="Radionomy" title="Radionomy" /></a></div>
<div id="Cover"><img id="CoverPicture" onclick="JumpCover()" alt="Cover" title="Cover" style="cursor: hand" /></div></div>
<div id="PlayerEmbed"></div></div>
How can Integrate those players with your tag ?
Thx for all your works.

1st one

Simples as that:

Code: Select all

{object src="https://ak-secure-beatport.bpddn.com/swf/beatportplayer.swf" width="442" height="264" param="flashvars::bpCfgPath=http://player.beatport.com/en-US/xml/gui/swf/configuration/3&playerId=498068&autoplay=0&volume=80"}
2nd one, will be impossible to render it with just the object tag since this player is not any kind of object, but a xhtml/js interface to various formats.

I hope that helps

Oh oui : param="flashvars::... ;D !
Thanks a lot, Viebig you are the best :)

I use the tag into more than 900 pages on this site with many different's sources (YouTube, DailyMotion, GoogleVideo, MySpace...). All of the pages are valid Xhtml.

For the DailyMotion's video, it's better modify the path /video/ into /swf/ (otherwise you run with a white screen).
And don't forget replace & to &
