Can't add new content

Hi

I've just installed Faanui via Softaculous in my Cpanel and for some reason am unable to add new page content yet I am allowed to change the homepage and add global content blocks etc. I tried creating a new page and a new redirect to external page and though the green banner appears telling me my changes were successful nothing new appears.

I've built a fair few CMS MS websites and never encountered this before. The only other strange thing prior to noticing this was trying to link my css to my template. For some reason the css would not link to my page so I had to hard code the link.

Do you pages appear after clearing cache?
If yes it might be wrong timezone setting in config.php.

Thanks that solved the issue I was having.

I cleared the cache and my pages appeared. I set my time zone to Europe/London in my config.php file but when creating a new page I see nothing until I clear the cache.

It would be nice if I did not have to clear the cacahe every time as this would make adding content easier for my end user.

Any thoughts ?

Timezone should be set according to your server timezone not your location.

My server is in Chicago so I set the Timezone to America/Chicago but this hasn't cured the problem. I have set the config file back to Europe/London.

I have a CMS MS website on the same server using Europe/London as the timezone which strangely does not have any issues.

I'm not sure what else I could try bar a fresh install without using Softaculous.

I have only resolved this issue by using the timezone the server is in, but cannot work out how to now get the correct times in calendar, news etc.

How do you correct the offset between the server and your actual location?
