{SOLVED} GB File Picker, File Manager, umask, owner etc

The file handling for the cms is fine. It links, it displays... just them thumbnails... I get a red warniing image in the file picker. I get sometimes yes, sometimes no thumb in the filemanager. FTP or filemanager uploads have different outcoums.

But for the life of me, I can't get it to work on the server to preview images.
Tried:
Umask : 002, 022, 18
Owner: nobody, 99, or the ftp account.
Permissions: 755, 777, 644, 666.

Normally I would reset the ownership blunt style and recursively in admin but I am in unfamiliar server now.
I think al the required settings are met.

I must admit, I rrrrrreallly am done trying.

Would anyone be willing to help me?

Not what I expected. But it makes sense now...

In the uploads images folder GBFilePicker creates a folder. If this folder has wrong permissions. It can't create the GBFilePicker thumbnails.

I expected (when will I learn) that the thumbnails would be the 'normal' thumbnails. I didn't expect that GBFP would create a dedicated folder for it's own thumbnails.
