You are not allowed to modify files outside the uploads-dir!

We are getting an error with the filemanager module.
Error:You are not allowed to modify files outside the uploads-dir! (That requires the Advanced File Management permission)

I have set this level of permissions within the cms.
But the cms is still not able to write to the directory/upload(message remains), nor change to a subfolder. It keeps returning the same page.

CMSMS: 1.10.3

php version: 5.2.8.
mysql: 5.1.30

FileManager 1.2.0

About 6 months ago we updated the system - it may be that this didn't get tested until now.

Hi

I had this issue with one of my sites using CMSMS: 1.10.3

Since then, I simply upgrade as a matter of course when the new version/s are realeased. Other than some very minor and easy to fix issues, I have not had any problems.

I do make a point of Copying the entire files structure and database first - just in case

Have you tried an upgrade?
