NMS newsletter does not render properly in windows live mail

Hi,

I installed cmsms and newsletter made simple for a customer. When images are inserted or a link to for example a pdf, windows live mail refuses to show it or make it available for download. It is not a matter of clicking on show remote content. What I noticed in the source of the message is that the link looks like:

http:/www.domain.com/uploads/file.pdf

or

http:/ww.domain.com/uploads/images/image.jpg

So there's a slash missing. Other email software is not bothered by this but windows live mail seems to be?

cmsms version: 1.11.4
nms version: 2.7

I tested this on different pc's with windows live mail

update: I also have this problem when I use the sample template so it is not template related

It's a bug in NMS see the bug reports for the module.

Hi, sorry if this is a stupid question......... do I have to wait for the next nms version or do I reinstall 2.7 to get the fix? because I already have the latest version? Thanks for fixing it by the way!

You will probably have to fix this yourself.

Can anyone post where to fix this? Others are having the same problem and we just need to know what file to find the code in to correct.
