[SOLVED] Gallery without any JS Box

Post by thomahawk »

I was under the impression that once, before JS lightboxes came along, the gallery was working by just opening the selected images big version on a new page. Or am I mistaken?

I need this for me current project, but can not find any option for this. Wasn't there a second template for this? Or how can I achieve that. (Maybe I am standing on my cord right now, a bit confused after may hours trying around ;-)

Does someone have a suggestion for me?

Regards,
Thom

I don't use Gallery but I'm sure you can make your own template that has no JS calls in it and customize the links to full image with a target=_blank to open it in a new window/tab, at least I know Album would let you do this...

Thanks. Sorry I did not update this. I got it done by someone from the forum. Was pretty complicated.

I also found out today that possibly the other gallery modul Gallery3 may be page oriented. Too bad I did not first try that one.

That is not what I thought you meant, guess it was no pop up box you wanted, have you looked at some of Albums templates I made like Gallerific http://album.multiintech.com/home/album-16/15.html...
