I've broken my brain trying to figure this out.

In the News summary template there is bit at the top that displays a clickable list of categories.

This isn't the case with the CGBlog summary template, because there is a separate 'Browse Category template'.

But I'm trying to add the clickable list of categories to the top of the CGBlog summary template.
{$items|print_r} shows me that the category array isn't available to the CGBlog summary template but there must be a work around.

Has anybody done this? Put a clickable CGBlog category list on the same page as the full summary list?

I've included a screen grab of my News page that I'm trying to replicate with the CGBlog.

You can call the browsecat template wherever you wish in you html code or even within the summary template.

What wizardry is this!!

I swear I tried that a least half a dozen times and was defeated each time - then I crawled under my desk for a cry.

But - it works perfectly now.

There doesn't seem to be a smiley for " I must have had my stupid head on."

Thanks Applejack

Simon

For anyone else having a bad day this is what I did:

In the top of my CGBlog detail template I added a call to the CGBlog Browsercat template...
Code:
{if isset($error)}{cgerror}{$error}{/cgerror}{/if}

<h3>{title}</h3>
<!-- This section shows a clickable list of your Blog categories. -->
{CGBlog action=browsecat}
<!-- End Blog category list. -->
