FEU site uploads

Post by pukka »

Hello,

I am trying to create a site that will enable FEU to do the following:

1) Upload and edit articles/blogs

2) Create their own gallery (so add/edit/delete images)

3) Upload videos

From reading around it seems CGBlog/News can take care of uploading articles/blogs but i'm not sure if it will allow them to edit said articles.

I'm not sure however which modules i need for 2 and 3.

Thanks.
Peace & Love

I am not sure about the editing portion of the Articles.

You can look into the Uploads module. I think it will allow you to manage photo/video uploads for FEU users. With the right template setup you should be able to make galleries.
If all else fails, use a bigger hammer.

You will get a large part of it with Frontendusers/CustomContent/CGBlog

Thanks for the info.

Some progress has been made. I was able to post an article using like you suggested a combo of FEU/CGBlog & Custom Content.
The article shows up on the main site and shows the name of the user that posted the article.

A few issues remain however.

I'm unable to upload images via the FEU. I'd like the user to be able to upload for example an image from their desktop

When the user signs into the site, i'd like them to see a list of articles they have posted and if they wish, they can click on the articles and edit them.
Peace & Love
