Center images that use Image Captions

Hi all,

my site uses the image captions module as well as Lytebox (and in some cases both modules together on the same image). This all works pretty well so far after some configuration work.

However, the only thing I'm missing is a way to center align images with captions (as well as Lytebox-linked images with captions). Installing Image Captions adds two CSS classes for images, leftcaption and rightcaption. They let the image float left or right, which also works when uses with Lytebox. But there is no way to center caption'ed images.

The only temporary workaround I found so far is to put the image in a <center></center> environment. This works, however the next time the page is edited, these tags get lost (I use tinyMCE).

The centered images with captions are aligned by using the workaround above.

I have tried to understand the leftcaption and rightcaption classes, but I cant find their definition in any of my CSS files. They were installed with the Image Caption Module, I simply followed this guideline:

Any help on how I can accomplish this is very much appreciated.
