Hello,

I have been using CMS MS for several months, and recently I had used by first time the MLE extension. Let me say THANK YOU for your work on this usefull tool. I had never found a so easy way to implement a multilingual site.

I have a question for which I could not find a response in this MLE board or I am too novice with CMS. Is there currently any way to filter the permission for editing a page content by language and user? (I mean, user1 can edit a page (or all pages on site), but only the version in english, meanwhile user2 can edit only the content in spanish, for example).

If this is not possible at the moment, are there any plans to include some similar capability in future versions of the fork or even in CMS MS 2.0 when it becomes multilingual by default?

I think this is interesting for cases on which several editors must maintail the site in their respective languages, avoiding chances to ruine to work of others by mistake.

Thanks for your time,

Juan

It's an interesting idea, for sure. I guess you'd have to allow for the permissions to assign multiple languages to a user's permissions, not just one single language (what if I speak both English and French).
