Extention Modules dosn't work!

Post by florianoe »

Hallo,

The instalation was working fine.
But now I get a problem.

When I klick on Extentions:Modules I get an new window with the words:

Nothing else!

What is happend? What can I do?
Some years ago, the same problem was in forum and there is also en bug tracker entree. But I can't find any solution.

Installed Modules:
CMSMailer 5.2.2
CMSPrinting 1.0.5
FileManager 1.4.5
MenuManager 1.8.6

ModuleManager 1.5.8
News 2.15.1

I think the problem had started after I installed CGSimpleSmarty!

http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/viewtopi ... 28&t=69402

I don't see CGExtensions in the list of installed modules, which is a dependency of CGSimpleSmarty. So I'd recommend renaming CGSimpleSmarty folder to CGSimpleSmarty__ just to temporary disable it and install CGExtensions 1st. Then rename the folder back to it's original name. Look in PHP error log and try to find additional error info... That might help to shed some light on the subject.

note that this is NOT a bug. It's an invalid bug report for lack of proper info on how to replicate the issue.

Thank you for the answer!
Sorry for the long time without replay.
I was some weeks in holiday ... 8)

The module list was from 'Site Admin' -> 'System Information' -> 'Installed Modules' and there isn't CGExtensions in the list.
But in the module folder on the server CGExtensions is installed.

In the module folder I had deleted the CGSimpleSmarty folder directly, but in 'System Information' is it still in the list as an intalled module.

The errorlog is:
[Sat Jun 06 10:51:29 2015] [warn] [client [IP]] mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Class 'cms_cache_handler' not found in /var/www/vhosts/[domain]/httpdocs/modules/CGExtensions/CGExtensions.module.php on line 152, referer: http://[domain]/admin/index.php?_sx_=117b0bf71ce330ef

A module will still exist in the DB even though you deleted the folder for it and didn't uninstall it, upload/install CGExtensions again then install CGSimpleSmarty again...

Thank you for answer.

How can I install CGExtensions and CGSimplySmarty again, when ModulManager isn't working?
