Would it be possible to lock certain pages from some content editors or specific user groups?

I've recently had a client wipe out the {news} tag to add a news article... But they still need to be able to edit a few other bits and pieces themselves on other pages so I can't exactly revoke all their page editing permissions.
This would be immensely useful!

Cheers

You can easily give a user editing permissions only on a single page if you want, or two or three pages, or all pages. To make a user able to edit only one page, make sure his Group privileges do not include Edit Any Page (I think that's the name of the permission), and then add him as an additional editor on the page in question.

Repeat as needed for additional pages.

Not exactly able to figure out how to manage editors of individual pages.

Content > Pages > Options > ... no option is really available, it list the groups and users with access, but doesn't really allow it to be influenced by anything I've tried clicking...

You need to make a group with exact privileges you want them to have then in Options highlight that group to be owner of that page...
