Tag modules and file by status and category

Im sure this has been discussed before so this is probably a reminder.

It would be useful if modules where tagged / marked on some maturity scale and recent update scale.

I think there are 500+ modules, many are alpha or beta versions, some have been active but have not been updated for long.

If they could be grouped in categories too, so much better.

The current alphabetical index is only useful if you already know what to look for.
