Re: PHP Upgrade

I found this link that was used to install it on my server: http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories/SCL I just seems that this is one of those things that are difficult to configure and make work as we wish. It simply isn't worth the trouble. I think I'll just upgrade to CentOS 7. Ma...

Re: PHP Upgrade

Thank, Rolf.

I tried that and it only sees the 5.3.3 version. Do you also believe that it is a misconfiguration on the server?

Re: PHP Upgrade

Evidently, CMSMS cannot see one of them.

Re: PHP Upgrade

Is there no place in any CMSMS configuration or file that sees if and where php exists?

My understanding was that php was required by CMSMS and would therefore be needing to be identified as existing.

PHP Upgrade

I am using CentOS 6.6 with CMSMS 1.11.11. My server has been set up with both php version 5.3.3 and 5.4.16.

CMSMS sees 5.3.3. How do I tell it to use 5.4.16?

Thanks.

Web-Editable Agenda Form

I would like to make an agenda form for one of my club sites so that the chairpersons can edit it thru the website and keep it up to date as an ongoing project until the next meeting. At that point, some new business would roll over into the old business category and so on. Is a form the best way to...

Re: You need the appropriate permission

I'm not convinced either. As to the php issue; it is dependent upon the OS version. CentOS is one of the cornerstones of Internet servers. If it does not come natively with 5.4, the length of time the old version has been around is a non-issue. That makes 5.4 appear to be too new in the eyes of the ...

Re: You need the appropriate permission

Thanks, staartmees, but the second item in the first link source is not working. The second link is just too much trouble. I guess Ill have to wait until the new host is setup with the latest software. I can't understand why programmers don't keep reasonable compatibility in their software. Allowing...

Re: You need the appropriate permission

CentOS 6.6 does not have PHP 5.4 available for it. Has everyone moved their servers to CentOS 7?

Re: You need the appropriate permission

Yes, but if they have designer permissions, do they need editor permissions? Also, are you implying that designer is redundant?

You need the appropriate permission

This message regarding permissions was as seen in the attached screenshot. The user had editor and designer permisson. The designer list had almost every single item check, including "modify module", what ever that means. But still he gets the message when he tries to edit the CalGuy Calen...

It also appears that the format isn't supported either.

Re: Web Site Search Search Layout Problem

Do you mean to tell me that the programming that creates the forum cannot restrict the size of the box that is a comment?

CG Calendar Not Wysiwyg in Generated Calendar

The CG Calendar module shows the calendar with color-coded events. However, those carefully colored events do not show that way on the generated web page. Even the continuous color for the events that span many days do not show as a continuous span. How does the user see the final output in the modu...

Web Site Search Search Layout Problem

Attached is a screenshot of the problem I just witnessed. When forum search results come back, the screen has individual topics in boxes that scroll off the screen.

This is as viewed in Firefox 33.1.

This should be rectified.
