Minimalist theme, any interest?
I have ported one of our WordPress themes to CMSMS and you can see it here: http://cmsms.mytestbed.com If anyone is interested I can pack it up as a theme. But before I do that, I'd love for you to kick the tires a bit and let me know if you see any wonkiness or anything about the design you'd like ...

[RESOLVED] TinyMCE Editor Picks up BG of the main site; how to stop this?
I have searched and haven't found [a solution to] this issue. When I have a CMSMS site that uses a dark body background color, TinyMCE seems to pick it up in the editor page. This isn't a problem for me, since I use the popup raw code/HTML editor anyway. But usually, I'm turning the site over to m...

[solved] Re: news title appears under referer page title
I finally figured out how to solve the problem and I bet you looked at those sites *after* I implemented the change. What I did was to create a new page template called "News" and named it "News" in the menu title and in its actual page title. And pointed the news module to it....

Re: Poll: How Many Websites?
I'm a little late to jump on the voting. But I have designed hundreds of sites (probably 25%/75% MovableType/WordPress) before stumbling onto CMSMS. And now, after installing a sandbox for myself, I've embraced it. Everyone is on the WordPress bandwagon. It's now being used as a full-fledged CMS....

Size Matters! Problem with active and child menu items
I am developing a site that uses child menus (submenus). We want the active (chosen) page to have a slightly smaller font size, whether it is part of the main menu or part of a child menu. I've gone line by line in the menu stylesheet and cannot figure out what to change. Hope someone can figure i...

Re: Some General Principals
Hello, All users of CMS made simple need to read the documentation at smarty.php.net/manual to understand alot of what they can do. I beg to differ/precise : I think you are talking about power users . I think "just user" has no need to know about Smarty being under the hood. I'd ...

Re: news title appears under referer page title
This has not been resolved. I'm using CMSMS version 1.1.2 "Savaii" and the native News Module and I'm having these issues on both my CMSMS sites. It's very annoying. It picks up the title from the refering page. Creating a new template doesn't help because that template is INSIDE that ti...

Re: New website Singer and artist Walter De Buck
Are you kidding?! I LOVE it. It's very elegant, minimalist in an odd way, but all the information is presented very logically.

Re: Is anyone else feeling CMSMS is more trouble than it's worth?
Of course CMS-MS can't be all things to all people. Neither can WordPress, Drupal, Expression Engine, Joomla, etc., etc., etc. It's up to you to decide, based on your/your client's foreseeable needs, which of the myriad applications out there (or suite of applications, or cobbled together group of ...

Re: Concentus Women's Chorus
Very very nice, and quite elegant, Michel. Dropping the left menu bar down a tad would let you see more of that graphic image on the left. I absolutely LOVE the music too and thanks for sharing the resources you used!!
Again, excellent excellent work on this site!!

Re: Anchors
Hmm. I had high hopes for this but I am getting Smarty errors. This is such a great CMS, but there are a few stumbling blocks and they are annoying, this being one of them.
UPDATE: I reluctantly added the JS to the template head and all seems to be fine now. Thanks a bunch!!
