{search} not working after upgrade to Pinzon
I upgraded a site from 1.8.2 to 1.11.10 and everything seems ok apart from the search module. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it (from Module Manager) Whenever I call a page with the tag in I get: Warning: file(/home/xxxxxxxx/public_html/lib/smarty/libs/sysplugins/smarty_internal_templatebase.php...

Restrict search module to a specific hierarchy of pages
I am looking to have an "knowledgebase/FAQ" are on a site - something akin to ZenDesk (without the bells - just a list of categorised help articles). That bit is fine as I can create the articles under a section header, and populate extra attributes to serve as "tags". What I can...

Re: ManuManager > action breadcrumbs
I wasn't using the breadcrumb template, I was using one of the others. Have reverted to importing the breadcrumb template and it appears to be working fairly ok (got some empty LI elements).
Now to microdata the breadcrumbs...
Thank you all

Re: ManuManager > action breadcrumbs
From 1.11.7: "DEPRECATED Use {cms_breadcrumbs} now!"
Yes you can still use it, but support for it may disappear with future upgrades to the core

[SOLVED] FormBuilder Submit imput class
I am trying to add a class to the submit button on a FormBuilder form. Whilst I could probably achieve it using jquery, why go to the expense when there is a form display template. I can't though see how to add a class, called "btn" to the input tag. The last part of the template looks lik...

Re: ManuManager > action breadcrumbs
The tag breadcrumbs is depreciated and doesn't offer any control over HTML output. The template bcrumb looks like this: {if $count > 0} <ul class="breadcrumb"> {foreach from=$nodelist item=node} {if $node->depth > $node->prevdepth} {repeat string="<ul>" times=$node->depth-$node->...

[SOLVED] MenuManager > action breadcrumbs
I am trying to get menu manager to produce breadcrumbs. I can partially do this by using: {menu action="breadcrumbs" template="bcrumb"} but the output produces the following which has unwanted double chevrons. Setting delimiter="" throws an error and using {cms_breadcru...

Re: Twitter Boostrap and Smarty Menu
Try the below menu template (based on minimal) for the twitter bootstrap stacked sidebar nav {if $count > 0} <ul class="nav nav-list"> {foreach from=$nodelist item=node} {if $node->depth > $node->prevdepth} {repeat string="<ul class='nav nav-list'>" times=$node->depth-$node->prev...

Re: Twitter Boostrap and Smarty Menu
Slightly amended children_exist should'v been haschildren (on 1.8 at least) {assign var='number_of_levels' value=10000} {if isset($menuparams.number_of_levels)} {assign var='number_of_levels' value=$menuparams.number_of_levels} {/if} {if $count > 0} <ul class="nav"><li class="dropdown...

Re: EU privacy cookie directive
Its not from the backend. Go to http://www.cmsmadesimple.org/ and delete all your cookies related to that page (Firefox > Tools > Page Info > Security > View Cookies). Refresh the page You'll most likely see 5 cookies, 1 called CMSSESSID<number> and 4 for GA. As I dont have access to the cmsmadesimp...

EU privacy cookie directive
Hi All, Is it at all possible to prevent CMSMS using a session cookie so that the script may be compliant with the new UK cookie laws? Perhaps a flag in the config file to allow us to switch on/off the session cookie (I dont mean the backend one) http://www.ico.gov.uk/news/blog/2011/half-term-report...

Re: Multi-Language Websites Poll
In 11 years of web development, I have only ever needed some sort of multi-language capacity in a website once.
