Re: CGBlog: using " in title not possible

Checking the templates in CGBlog and CGFeedback and googling around for answers I suspect that it could all be related to differences in snippets of code like: {$entry->title|escape} {$entry->title|escape:htmlall} {$entry->title|htmlspecialchars} {$input_comment|htmlspecialchars} {$input_comment|htm...

[Solved] CGBlog: using " in title not possible

Hello, When adding a new blog post in the backend where the title includes the character " everything seems okay... The blog post is published and listed correctly in the backend with title and content. But when opening the blogpost to make edits I realize that the Title field is empty...! (And...

Re: CGBlog: URL Template field in Options Tab doesn't work

The developer says in the Forge that this problem is fixed... http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/bug/view/5738 But I am using the latest version 1.9.8 and still see no change. Does anyone else get it to work? ??? I am also wondering if there is a way to make similar settings for the News module. I really ...

Re: cms selflinks appearing in content of cataloger

Fixed in version 0.11.3 already released. Have a Happy New Year. Great news!! It works fine, thank you VERY much Jo! This forum and the forge really is a great opportunity to communicate directly with friendly developers like you. Happy new year! Would appreciate a fix to my other problem as well: ...

Re: cms selflinks appearing in content of cataloger

Oh how I would like this to be resolved....! :-\ Is it like boov said? It seems as if the cataloger module does not know what to do with selflinks. Or is it a server specific problem like Jo thinks? Tried to reproduce this bug several times, without success. It works on all my servers. It seems to b...

Re: Cataloger - additional editors

Update: Even making an Admin-user account for the client to use only for making changes in Cataloger didn't work..! When handing over the administration of the page to the client today the only solution was giving access to my own Admin login details! It seems that only the user who installed the mo...

Cataloger - choose sort order for items in loop

I am a smarty/php newbie using Cataloger (version 0.11.2) and would like to control the sort order when showing posts in a Printable Catalog. Right now I have to change it manually under Pages with the "Reorder pages" mode... I get no effect from the settings in "Global Catalog Operat...

Re: Cataloger - additional editors

I found another bug report about Cataloger that I think might be related to my problem... http://dev.cmsmadesimple.org/bug/view/6169 Because I realized that my problem is that users logged in as Editors can not affect any user-defined-attribute. Adding something to those fields simply wont get saved...

Re: cms selflinks appearing in content of cataloger

Hmm... :-[ What I do: 1. Add a User-Defined Attribute (Text-Area) in Extensions/Cataloger 2. Create a page in Content/Pages, choosing Content Type: Item Page 3. In the Text-Area described in point 1 above I use the MicroTiny button ("CMSMS Linker") to add a selflink to another Item Page in...

Re: Cataloger - additional editors

I'll take a look into it, when possible. :) Thank you Jo! Would be splendid if you could propose a solution or do something about it soon! Cataloger seems to be a very well-developed and popular module so this error surprised me... While at it, I have found another problem though, noted by others t...

Cataloger - additional editors

I have created a homepage for a veeery important client (my father :) ) and was about to let him start add and edit content. So I started testing his user account (CMSMS version 1.11.2.1) and realized that Cataloger (version 0.11.2) will let him add new content (i.e. Item Page), but not fill in all ...
